The Sting 4000 is a major step forward in electric mobility. Its PMSM mid-drive motor and 370 Nm of torque deliver instant thrust whether you are heading to a trail or riding in town. L1e homologation allows legal road use with a BSR licence (or category B depending on your situation).

At its heart, the Sting 4000 uses a permanent-magnet PMSM motor with up to 9,000 W peak and constant 370 Nm at the wheel. Throttle response is immediate, with traction suited to technical climbs and urban getaways alike.
60V 45Ah battery and real-world range by mode
The removable LG lithium-ion 60V 45Ah pack charges indoors in about 2.5 hours. Range varies by mode: over 60 km in Eco, around 50 km in Road and 35 km in Sport. The BMS protects against overcharging and extends battery life.
Three riding modes: Road, Eco and Sport
Road mode caps speed at 45 km/h for L1e compliance. Eco prioritises range; Sport unleashes full power on private terrain.

Road-legal Sting 4000 vs the Sting 4000 range
Compared to the Sting 4000 (Off-Road), the road-legal version shares the same 9 kW controller and 60V 45Ah battery but adds road lighting and the 45 km/h L1e limit. The Sting 4000 Limited (Off-Road) targets pure off-road performance (Manitou fork, Magura brakes) without road homologation.
Buying guide and practical tips
If you ride on public roads between trail sessions, L1e homologation is essential. Check tyre pressure (70/100-19 and 80/100-19), lube the chain and recharge the removable battery after each ride.
L1e regulations
L1e motorcycles (45 km/h max) require an AM/BSR licence or category B. Approved helmet and gloves are mandatory; registration and insurance are required.
